Bid Manager

At Kimbal

Primary responsibilities and tasks for this role:

  • Identify and track tendering opportunities.
  • Coordinate with AMISP’s/Customers, both domestic and international, for identifying partners.
  • Create and manage client proposals, including responses to RFPs and RFIs, and developing material.
  • Plan and coordinate the pitch process.
  • Collaborate with various teams (engineering, finance, sales, and marketing) to gather necessary technical and commercial information for effective proposal development
  • Maintain an updated information database, and coordinate with multiple departments to ensure a seamless proposal ecosystem.
  • Develop pricing models, articulate solutions in business language, and create reusable assets like templates to streamline the proposal response process

Projects or initiatives the new hire will be involved in:

  • Domestic/ International Competitive Bids for Kimbal’s Offerings
  • Process Documentation and Quality Management System (QMS)

Qualifications and skills necessary for candidates to succeed:

  • Minimum 5 years of related experience with proven track record in pitch/bid management.
  • Minimum B. Tech/BE in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
  • Prior experience in AMI/Metering/Smart Metering would be an advantage.
  • Excellent English writing skills.
  • Excellent Documentation skills.
  • Strong ability to communicate effectively through all mediums and at all levels, both internally and externally.
